I am a visual artist and writer living in Canada who writes about art and the criminal justice system with a  focus on injustice and the role that the media and arts play in contemporary culture. Since 1996, I have played varying roles within the arts and non-profit sector as a director, managing editor, writer and consultant.

I did not have aspirations to become a writer early in life, but love for writing has slowly seeped into my bones and flesh. Writing is a powerful tool for intellectual thought and creative expression. the beautiful thing about words is their power to move, to ire or to persuade.  My hope is to inspire others by weaving a compelling tale with a unique arrangement of words and images.
